It’s that time of the year to start thinking about the upkeep of your home and lawn before the snow blankets our area. Maintenance is vital to the overall appearance and well-being of our homes, as well as those of your neighbors and the Union Township community. If you have any unused or unwanted items in your homes or sitting on your property, the Township’s Fall Junk Days can help you with your cleaning efforts.

Bring your household junk to the Union Township Service Department, located at  4312 Glen Este-Withamsville Road, November 6th, 7th and 8th.

Thursday, November 6     7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Friday, November 7           7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Saturday, November 8      8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

The Township accepts many household items including the below:

• Couches (must be wrapped in plastic)
• Tables & chairs 
• TV’s and computers
• Rugs
• Freezers & refrigerators
• Clothes
• Glass items (must be wrapped in paper or plastic)
• Mattresses (must be wrapped in plastic)
• Carpet (must be rolled up)
• Patio/lawn furniture 
• Lawnmowers
• Sport goals & equipment 
• Hot tubs
• Scrap metal
• Boats
• CDs and DVDs

Proof of Township residency is required in order to drop off unwanted items. 

Items such as motor oils, paint, batteries, tires, florescent lights, flammables, and yard debris will not be accepted. For disposal of these items, please visit Household Hazardous Waste Disposal, Yard Debris Disposal, or reach out to the Clermont County Office of Environmental Quality.
