Join us at Mt. Moriah Cemetery for the 2024 Mt. Moriah Cemetery Lantern Lighting Event, on Saturday, September 21, 2024 from 5PM-7:30PM. The Union Township Board of Trustees and Mt. Moriah Cemetery are excited to sponsor this free event which promises to be a unique evening of beauty and remembrance for the entire community. You can prepare your personalized lantern by inscribing your own words of love and remembrance. All supplies will be provided. You may wish to personalize your lantern by bringing pictures of your loved ones. Following a complimentary dinner, we will gather at the shoreline to share a simple but beautiful ceremony. The candles are lit and the lanterns are set upon the water to carry their messages.
